The secrets of 'Meadowbrook'

The housing estate on the outskirts of Storrington, Meadowbrook, seems pretty much normal. But if you look closely, you'll find secrets hidden behind a thick coat of grass.

When my parents decided to buy a house near this village, they nearly agreed to live somewhere else. They were put off because of the landfill site. Yet there is no landfill in Storrington...Not anymore. During the early stages of Victorian Britain, half of the new Meadowbrook park was actually filled with old rubbish. Medicine bottles, broken pottery, even transformers-not the robots that change into vehicles, car batteries-you name it! Storrington had it. And Storrington still does. But after local builders covered the dirt patches, it became harder to find all the pottery. Though, it's still possible to find hidden antiques beneath the surface of the Meadowbrook park!
