The Storrington Duck Race 2019

The Duck Race Team have been preparing for the big event for quite a while now, so here's some more information on what they've been up to and how the day works.

Tickets:

You can purchase your tickets from Mansell McTaggarts in Storrington now to avoid a big queue on the day! Admission is free, but if your hoping to buy a duck tickets cost £1 each.

The number of Ducks:

This year there will be exactly 3,00 ducks racing!

The Prizes:

1st Place: £100

2cnd Place: £50

3rd Place: £25

Where and When:

The Duck Race will begin at Midday and end at 3:00pm on Sunday the 12th of May 2019 at Riverside Walk and Library Car Park.

What's going on there:

As well as 6 heats and a grand final full of racing ducks, there will also be plenty of craft stalls and fairground rides. But not only that, live music, bars, barbecues, ice creams cakes and a host who goes by the name of Julia Donaldson, author of the Gruffalo. All packed into to 3 hours.

Why:

To help raise as much money as possible for Storrington Primary school.
