So Long Lloyds

On Friday 24th of May, a letter was sent out to all of the Storrington Lloyds bank customers to inform them that the bank will be closing on the 9th of October 2019. The bank officials claim:

'After a review of how our customers use our branches in the South Downs area, we have made the decision to close our Storrington branch.'
Lloyds have decided that their customers needs have began to change, as over 14 million people now use internet banking to access their Lloyds bank account. The company believes that their customers do not use the branch nearly as much as they used to and the accessibility for people has also decreased. People all over Social Media are horrified by the choice  the officials have made and now state the event as:

'This is awful'

'Tragic'
Though not all is as bad as it seems. The Lloyds Bank mobile branch will be coming to our village on a regular basis to save customers the journey to Worthing to take a couple of hundred pounds from their account. You can withdraw up to £300 a day and will still be able to pay in your cheques.
