Traffic Wardens have been seen around our village and improvements have already been made. Today, outside of Storrington Primary School the Traffic Wardens have placed themselves by the office, around the corner by double yellow lines and down by the Storrington Leisure Centre. The School have been having numerous parking problems with people constantly parking their cars in front of peoples drives so they cannot leave their houses as well as the double yellow lines becoming a popular little spot for parents who are in a rush to get to work to park. But nobody has been seen parked in the usual sneaky spot providing a much more relaxed school run.
On the 22nd of May, the Parish Council held a meeting to discuss problems around our village and ways they could be solved. They took it upon themselves to introduce the new Wardens, who will be making a big change to the parking around Storrington.
