Just 2 days ago, it was announced that Storm Dennis would be hitting the UK, but nobody in Storrington was aware of the affects it may have on the villagers. Near Meadow brook, the stream normally runs underneath a bridge however throughout the day the water levels have been rising and now the gap between the water and the bottom of the bridge is no longer visible. Rain has been on and off throughout the weekend, but luckily it is expected to settle down a bit at around 6;00 tonight, so lets all keep our fingers crossed that Storm Dennis will end today so we can all enjoy a nice couple of days with no rain.
