10 Things To Do During Lock Down!

Though times maybe tough, there are lots of things we can be doing at the moment, to keep ourselves from being bored. Here is a list of some suggestions to help you keep your boredom at bay!

  1. Do some photography: you don't need the fanciest piece of photography technology or camera to create a stunning photo board or album about anything you want! You could your phone or tablet to take photos and share them with your friends.
  2. Make your own comic book: online, you can buy lots of blank comic books, or make your own from scratch! All you need is some paper, some pencils and your imagination.
  3.  Start a blog: you can create a nice website, and post all about your passions or hobbies, and share the with the world while you're at it.
  4. Gardening: gardening has been proven to reduce risks of dementia, and be a very rewarding passion too. You can start a vegetable patch, grow a beautiful flower garden, or just start a cress plant on the windowsill. However you like to garden, its sure to be amazing fun.
  5.  Sewing: by sewing, you can release stress and create gorgeous projects while you're at it. You can either sew by hand or use a machine, but either way your bound to produce some beautiful work.
  6. Start a YouTube channel: another way to share your passions is by starting a YouTube channel, where you can, vlog, game, or just create a channel for everything.
  7. Create a business: while we're all at home, there's a great opportunity to design, make, produce and sell some original products. You can use business websites to set up your business, or create your own and maybe even make some profit!
  8. Make an art gallery...At home: now is the perfect time to get creative and sharpen your sketching pencils, as you can make your own gallery at home! You can post on social media, share on a zoom call, or make an exhibition just for yourself, this can help you let out your feelings, express yourself and have some fun whilst doing it.
  9. Start a diary: by writing a diary, you can have somewhere to write down your feelings, and also something to look back on later in life, lots of shops currently stock diaries online, and with endless designs and lay outs, why not try it?
  10. Write a novel: whether you're a horror kind of person, or prefer a more factual book, this idea is the perfect one for you, build your story and share it with your friends, and who knows we may be seeing a sequel in bookstores soon.
