Loan A Book Or Two From The Storrington Library

Because of COVID-19, many village shops and businesses have had to (temporarily) close their doors. But as lock down restrictions ease, and life changes again things are starting to re open! Shops such as Stitch, St Barnabas House and Costa - which is open for take away only - are starting t welcome back customers, as long as the numbers inside the shops are controlled.

Another building that is now open is the library, you can return books that you took out before lock down and even pick up some new reads to keep you busy. To take a book out of the library, you have to go to the library catalogue website: https://arena.westsussex.gov.uk/web/arena and search for books that you would like to take out. When you have reserved your book, simply wait for a phone call to say your books are ready, and done!

We still have to be careful, but the library staff have put in lots of work to make sure that you can collect your books safely, with minimum risk. Before you take the books, you mus sanitise your hands, which the library provide, and then collect your books in paper bags to help limit the amount of germs that can be transmitted.
