Halcyon Days opened on Monday the 3rd of August and is a wonderful new addition to the local businesses based in Storrington. Me and my family were served as some of the first customers, and ordered some gelato from the shop (though they do also sell sandwiches and other snack items). They have a lovely courtyard around the back of the shop which you can easily access and socially distance in, and it has beautiful flowers and decorations all around it. There are also seats inside if you prefer to sit in the shade.
The staff who work at Halcyon Days are very friendly, and made sure to stay 2 metres away when possible, and the visit to the cafe was an overall lovely experience. The cafe is registered for the eat out to help out scheme, meaning you can get 50% off of your bill if you decide to eat in from Monday to Wednesday, so why not give it a try and help welcome this new business into our community?
