Village day is back!

On the 29th of June 2019, Storrington Village day will be making a grand return! The event was cancelled in 2015, as the Storrington Festival staged, but it didn't make a return over the following Summers, and Storrington lacked family entertainment. This year however, it will be making a comeback!

This wonderful event (led by Storrington and Pulborough Rotary Club) will include:

· Singing

· Dancing

·  Entertainers

· Climbing walls

· Funfair

· Games

· Morris dancing

· Bar

· Barbecue

· Book fair

· Raffle

· Car boot sale

· Car display

· Food

· Songs performed by Chance

· Charity, craft and trade stalls

The Rotary Club described it as “An opportunity to bring the community together and for as many of the local groups as possible to show the village what they can do.”  Lasting 6 hours in the Hormare Recreation Ground, the day will be jam-packed with all kinds of fun activities, and performances, including a show or two provided by local school children. For the adults, a bar and a grand raffle with masses of fantastic prizes. The kids won’t be bored either with a climbing wall and fairground rides for children and youngsters at heart.
