Last Night, a huge blaze took over a car workshop at Water Lane. The Storrington Fire Brigade were alerted of the fire at around 10 pm, the same time as a loud series of explosions were heard coming from Cottons Yard. Witnesses report seeing several Police cars, Ambulances and Fire Engines arriving at the scene.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after the horrifying news that a man from Horsham (aged 46) has been arrested on suspicion of Arson and trying to endanger life. Rumours on social media suggest a man was tied up inside of the burning building but set free before was caused any injuries.The man under suspicion is currently in custody and enquiries following the incident are continuing.
